Internal Quality Assurance Cell is established during the academic year 2011 with a Principal, Six Assist Professors, two clerical staff and one attender. Established to maintain the momentum of quality consciousness, Internal Quality Assurance Cell is conceived as a mechanism to build and ensure a quality culture in our College. The internal quality assurance system is functioning with appropriate structure and processes, and with enough flexibility to meet the diverse needs of the stakeholders with the nomenclature “Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)”. It is in place for planning, guiding and monitoring Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of the College. The cell is channelizing and systematizing the efforts and measures of the institution towards academic excellence. It is a facilitative and participative organ of the College.
The IQAC is a driving force for ushering in quality by working out intervention strategies to remove deficiencies and enhance quality with a goal to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution and to promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
In pursuance of the National Action plan of NAAC for performance evaluation, assessment, accreditation and quality upgradation of institutions of higher education, the IQAC was established in the year 2011. As per the spirit of NAAC guidelines, the IQAC has been striving for internalization and institutionalization of quality enhancement. It is working as a facilitative and participative voluntary system of the College.

The IQAC has set itself the objectives shown below-

1. Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive academic, administrative and financial tasks.
2. Monitoring the relevance and quality of academic and action research programmes.
3. Equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for various sections of society.
4. Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning.
5. The credibility of evaluation procedures.
6. Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and functioning of support structures and services.
7. Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the institutions.
8. Dissemination of information on the various quality parameters of higher education.
9. Organization of workshops and seminars on quality related themes.
10. Documentation of various programmes /activities leading to quality improvement.
11. Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for quality related activities.
12. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC based on the quality parameters.
13. Development and maintenance of Institutional data base through MIS.
14. Development of quality culture in the institution.
15. Preparing the College to apply for various Rankings.
